Bohemia designs and models have survived the test of time, but we also adjust them to the specifications of our customers. We carry following types of unique lighting fixtures and chandeliers:
Plain - which we first introduced during the period of Classicism at the beginning of th e19th century. Classicism was a very sober style which exhorted to return to plain beauty of classical antiquity - austere elegance without any overbundant ornamental motifs.
Cut - decorated with mouth blown and hand cut and polished parts and richly dressed with various chandelier trimmings.
High enamel - main parts of the fittings are made from three layers of glass that are fused together. The top white layer is then cut through to reveal the middle layer, thus creating small windows, letting colored light come through them. These parts are further decorated with raised high enamel paint.
Maria Theresa - In 1746, a new lyre-shaped chandelier was delivered to Maria Theresa's palace, and she was thoroughly enachanted. Ever since, this type of chandelier has borne her name. Models have flat steel branches, and each arm is clad on both sides with glass fillets secured with rosettes, precisely matching the curvature of arms.
Light metal arms - these are distinguished by the use of light weight metal tubes for arms. Some of them are designed without trimmings.
Cast metal - rich relief decorations and a variety of patina coatings give them a look that suggest teh tranquility and tastes of the mannered past. They are created using the centuries old techniques of sand casting.
Modern - fit perfectly into luxurious and attractive interiors as well as to smaller halls, where they can fully reveal their colorful variety.
Brilliant - their parts are made of classic materials, but their plain design and the type of the trimmings are completely new. An admirable effect of unusually shaped independent light objects occurs in case of types with wire attached trimmings...
